Project: Major Tom Restaurant – Calgary, Alberta

Acting as project management consultants, the team led the successful delivery of Major Tom—a high-end restaurant located on the 40th floor of Stephen Avenue Place in downtown Calgary. The role encompassed managing the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility and planning through to construction and handover, ensuring seamless coordination among all project teams and stakeholders.

A high-level project programme was developed and maintained using Primavera P6, covering all stages including design development, procurement, site works, and interior fit-out. The complexity of the location demanded close coordination with the base building landlord and construction teams, as the works were executed within an operational high-rise environment.

Responsibilities included facilitating design coordination workshops, managing procurement milestones, and overseeing programme risks and site logistics. Progress updates were provided to the client on a weekly basis, including earned value analysis, cost forecasts, and critical path tracking to ensure delivery remained on time and within budget.

The project was completed to a premium standard, showcasing expertise in managing high-quality, fast-paced fit-out works within complex urban settings.
