Project: INEOS Oil & Gas – KG Flex Restart Project

Project brief was to deliver detailed planning and project controls services for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management (EPCm) phase of the INEOS KG Flex Restart Project—an important initiative within the operator’s North Sea portfolio.

Responsibilities included the development and maintenance of a Level 3 detailed project schedule, built using industry-standard tools and structured to reflect the complexity and interdependencies of the EPCm lifecycle.

Fortnightly progress reporting to both INEOS management and client stakeholders, which included:

• Progress updates benchmarked against baseline

• Man-hour and progress ‘S’ curves for visual performance tracking

• Forward-looking three- and six-week lookahead schedules

• Analysis of critical path activities and key interface points

Reporting frameworks helped maintain control of project progress and ensured accurate forecasting for resource deployment and milestone achievement. Through ongoing schedule refinement and close engagement with the delivery team, support gave the timely advancement of this restart programme, critical to INEOS’s production capability and long-term asset optimisation strategy.
